I’m Colleen Claes [much-needed pronunciation guide: klayz] and I write all kinds of things, like essays, screenplays, comedy sketches, angry Yelp reviews and unsophisticated blog posts that contain things such as: “hahahah OMFG.”
Though currently on hiatus from blogging in long form, for what it’s worth: Salon.com editors have chosen my pieces multiple times for the cover page of Open Salon. I’ve also been quoted in a USA Today article by Maria Puente for my film expertise.
I have a degree in Digital Cinema and Screenwriting, and I’m currently taking Comedy Writing and Improv classes at The Second City Training Center in Chicago.
